Pivot Point Calculator
Calculate Classic, Fibonacci, Woodie, Camarilla and DeMark pivot levels using your market's Open, High, Low and Close prices.
Classic Pivot Levels
Pivot = (High + Low + Close) / 3
Pivot Point Methods Explained
Pivot points are mathematical price levels calculated from previous market data. Traders commonly use them as reference points for potential support, resistance, breakouts and intraday market structure.
Classic Pivot Points
Classic pivots calculate the central Pivot from the previous High, Low and Close. R1โR3 provide resistance reference levels while S1โS3 provide support reference levels.
Fibonacci Pivot Points
Fibonacci pivots apply commonly used Fibonacci ratios to the previous period's trading range. This produces support and resistance levels around the central pivot.
Woodie Pivot Points
Woodie pivots give greater weight to the previous closing price in the central pivot calculation.
Camarilla Pivot Points
Camarilla calculations use multiple range-based levels. The method is commonly used for identifying intraday support, resistance and potential breakout areas.
DeMark Pivot Points
DeMark pivots use the relationship between the Open and Close to determine the calculation branch. The method produces a central reference value and primary support/resistance levels.
Pivot Method Comparison
| Method | Main Inputs | Typical Levels |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | High, Low, Close | Pivot, R1โR3, S1โS3 |
| Fibonacci | High, Low, Close | Pivot, R1โR3, S1โS3 |
| Woodie | High, Low, Close | Pivot, R1โR3, S1โS3 |
| Camarilla | High, Low, Close | Pivot, R1โR4, S1โS4 |
| DeMark | Open, High, Low, Close | Pivot, R1, S1 |
How to Use the Pivot Calculator
1. Enter your market data
Enter the relevant Open, High, Low and Close prices from the previous trading period.
2. Select a pivot method
Choose Classic, Fibonacci, Woodie, Camarilla or DeMark.
3. Calculate the levels
Click the calculation button. The calculator will automatically generate the corresponding pivot levels.
4. Compare the methods
You can switch between methods using the tabs without re-entering your market prices.
Example: XAUUSD Pivot Calculation
Suppose the previous trading period had an Open of 2000, High of 2050, Low of 1980 and Close of 2020. Enter those values into the calculator and compare the resulting levels across the five pivot methods.
The resulting levels are mathematical reference points and do not guarantee that price will react at those levels.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are pivot points?
Pivot points are calculated market reference levels based on previous-period price data. They are commonly used to study potential support and resistance.
Which pivot methods are included?
This calculator supports Classic, Fibonacci, Woodie, Camarilla and DeMark pivot calculations.
Does DeMark require the Open price?
Yes. The DeMark calculation uses the relationship between the previous Open and Close to determine which formula is applied.
Can I use this calculator for gold?
Yes. You can use it with XAUUSD or other markets as long as you enter the appropriate Open, High, Low and Close prices.
Are pivot levels guaranteed to work?
No. Pivot levels are mathematical reference points. Actual market behavior can differ because of volatility, liquidity, news and other market conditions.
